hi, i have a b16 turbo setup that worked in my friends car, then we swapped the whole setup into my car, the car really doesnt like to hold idle, basicly wont hold idle. and when we drive it,VTEC wont engauge? The only code its throwing is an o2 sensor. its an OBD1 car. ANY THOUGHTS????

 

any check engine light can make v tec not engage, take care of the o2 sensor then see if it works.

 

i just checked the codes again, its throwing code 43. Fuel Supply System? So any CEL can cause the VTEC not to engage? ive seen cars with CEL's and vtec still engages? Will a O2 CEL send the car in to limp mode or am i mistaken?
