Default GS-R clutch same as ITR clutch?

I was told by one person that the ITR and GS-R clutch have the same part # and yet I'm sure I heard the ITR clutch was a stronger and better.
Have to buy one before the weekend.
Thanx in advance

The ITR clutch & p.p. set yields 15% more holding force over a GS-R. Since they are the same price, just get the ITR pieces.

I knew it. I'm definitely getting the ITR clutch. Does anyone know the part # for the clutch and Pressure plate?

BSQ,
Thanks for the #s
I'll try to find a good deal on them.
something has gone really wrong with my Exedy Clutch, Clutchmaster Flywheel.
I installed it 2 months ago and as of last thursday it is messed. You can hear a LOUD machining sound coming from the tranny .Gets into each gear no problem, but when pulling up on the clutch, its bad. Lots of adequate pressure on the Master cylinder so it can't be a lack of force to disengage/engage.
I have a feeling the install was poor. Talked to the mechanic and he says its not him..he says its exedy cause he's had 3 other custoemrs that have had problems. Surprising how he didn't say that when he was installing it!
Loosing money like crazy on this. If its the install, I'm taking pictures and demanding some compensation. If its the part, I have to ship it back and tryt o claim warranty!
Having my friend open it up this saturday. Have to have a clutch set ready just in case (likely) the clutch is messed.
No idea what it could be till its opened up. One big nightmare right now.
thanx for the info.

The discs are the same, PP's are different. Go for whichever disc is cheaper, I believe the ITR is.

I remember the infamous crazy launch with me you and David's ITR. Damn your car grabed like a Motha!
You had the kevlar friction disk!
Sounds good, but I really can't afford another clutch job so I have to go ultra safe and just get an ITR clutch. I know I'll get really good wear and tear and it will be very streetable.

Won't go with a used OEM part either. Kind of weary of used when it comes to clutches.
Not even sure if its the clutch that went. My gut feeling is that there is something wrong with the release mechanism. I'm getting the job done this saturday.
How much you want for the clutchmaster?
