ok,can someone tell me how to eliminate beeping sound on 91 civic sedan?both seatbelts driver/pass sealtbelt latch-up no problem but i keep on gettin this beeping sound.i already check all fuse they all checkout good?any ideas? thanks

 

do you have harneses? and you can take it to a shop and get your ecu erased for the seatbelt check

 

under the seat there a cable unplug it and ur done

 

i know this been cover many times,but i got no answers.i already try that unplug both plug under seat.it still beeps.any other ways?

its like chipping your ecu they erase the seatbelt check that makes it beep in the first place like if you dont have them in the seatbelt light on your gauge flashes... did this for a friends ls boosted da and cost him 140 bucks to get it chipped and the o2 sensors and crank sensor erased

its connected to the motor he has a 91 so its the auto seatbelts (gay) and the cable runs down to the ecu atleast in the 91 da which i assume its the same <-- owns 88

 

nonononono! To get rid of the beeping, there is a black cover on the floor behind where the shifter and the vents are, take the cover off of the plastic screw, and unplug the green harness... beeping gone.

 

that will get rid of the beeping but your seatbelt light will flash as a response i think

 

no sir, it gets rid of the light and the sound.

 

by the way its an auto.do i have to remove the plastic cover on the shifter to get to it?do u mean the e-brake plastic cover?

 

i thought it was behind the center console, like underneath the radio area?

bump..i did check behind the ashtray area don't see the green wire?i pull the carpet to see where the beeping from,sound like its coming from the ecu..red lights flashing?still tryin to figureout..
