I just got a set of h&r springs from CRG motorsports. they are an ht member. everything looks brand new and great. the box states part number 51865-2. the springs state the part is 51865 (non si). they seller swears they are brand new and not tampered with. To all those that have these on their em1, does your spring have 51865 or 51865-2 stamped on them? help.

I actually called them. They stated that the springs are in fact 51865-2 although the spring states 51865. Just as long as the box has the right p/n. The springs are different "internally" and some springs will have the p/n some won't.
Oh well, they feel really good in my ek though!

i recently purchased a set of sport springs from JLBmotorsports for my 99 si. I had the same problem when i saw the box and the contents have different p/n. They said there is NO difference between the 51865 and 51865-2.
the added "-2" just means the kit itself. if you were to buy spring individually, then you would use 51865. otherwise, they are identical springs. if you buy the kit, the springs will have 51865 stamped on them even though the box states 51865-2, this is normal. i even called H&R and confirmed this.
