Anyone want to trade their stock ITR for my modded JDM fronted one?
I have a 1997 Type R #280
107,000 miles on body
40K miles on LS/Vtec motor - Clean Carfax, no accidents
Hondata ECU
AEM CAI
Toda headers
Greddy exhaust
RC injectors
FPR
B&M Short shifter
Unorthodox Cam Gears
Unorthodox Power steering pulley (Alternator pulley stock)
ACT clutch
JDM sheet metal front end
V-AFC II
Oil pressure gauge
This is listed for sale in the other thread, i am asking $7500 firm, not $7499, $7500...

I presume your looking for a stock, VIN matching ITR?
If so, I hope your willing to put money up on your end. A 100k plus
modded, JDM front 97 isn't going to bring you much, that and those with stock ITR's keep that way for a reason and ask a much higher asking price for them.
GL either way.

how did the car end up w/ the JDM front end? You say that the car has not had any accidents, but I would say that most only change to that front end if they were involved in some sort of fender bender.... but I know of a couple exceptions....
Carfax checked out clear, car drives straight as an arrow, checked inside the engine bay for signs of damage to the side rails holding the fenders and it checked out fine. So i dunno...
Yeah i figure if people have a pristine ITR they were gonna keep it to themselves, but maybe someone who prefer this would trade. Just thought i'd ask.
I think thats a really really really big assumption. I know a lot of ppl who just like the look of the jdm ITR. I'd be careful throwing out suggetions about someones car being in a wreck.
How long have you owned this caR? Are you 100% sure it's #208 or were you just told that by the previous owner?
Reason I ask is #208 was for sale 6 months ago with 51k miles and mint original stock condition. (according to the guy who listed that caR).
Not accusing anything, just want to clear this up for the Registry project.

My mistake, it's no. 280

had the 0 and 8 switched up...
Thank you, this was my dream car back in high school, and it's very hard for me to find. If no one wants to trade i guess im gonna buy parts and return it back to stock, i was just saving someone time and money by trade that's all.
well i hope you know that the 1997 model is the most sought after itr for the purist itr collector. There is now less of them especially in stock unmodded trim with clean titles numbers matching type of deal. You had the perfect base too bad it was modded.

just put the stock oem 97 USDM front end back on and call it a day.
i bought the car like this, i didn't want all this crap on it to be honest...i think a trade is impossible for if anyone want to buy this out right, my price is $8500. If it doesn't sell i'm going to strip it down to the frame and start a build from scratch using parts that i want.
My ITR is very comparable to yours, I have an 00 PY ITR with 110,000 miles, completely stock minus a few JDM goodies. (Rear JDM seats, JDM Steering wheel, faux carbon fiber Gathers double din stereo). I do have a DC sports intake on it, and I used to have a T1R exhaust, but have since gone back to stock, let me know if you are interested, I'd have to have my mechanic check out your car extensively before hand, but anyway let me know.
