Accord heater **** cable broken.

So I put it on hot manually under the hood. But it still blows cold. Is there a second thing under the dash that you have to manually move also? It's a 95 Accord EX.

Yes, there is a heater Temp Blend Door which is also attached to the cable which also operates Hot Water Control Valve.

This is how it works:

Temp command thru twist ****
pushes/pulls cable which connectes from the Heater Control Head to the Tempurature blend door lever
pushes/pulls cable which connectes from the Blend Door lever to the Hot Water Control valve.

usually the water valve freezes / corrodes and one or both cables bend / kink or sometimes break right off.
