my accord has well over 200k but has always drove brand new, i resently replaced my waterpump and now my car does not accelerate right at all. when i start from a dead start it doesnt matter how much gas i give it , it very slowly accelerates as if theres a cylinder out. and when it shifts into second and third the rpms drop to 2000 ,thought 1st gear ws out but its not so is this a timing prob or tranny?

 

Recheck your Camshaft timing. I suspect it moved when you did the Waterpump job.
