Default Obd0 to obd1 question

HELLO ALL,

i just purchased a jumper harness from a local shop but im confused with the schematics, from what i think if i were to just plug in the jumper harness the car should start with no o2 and vtec,

the computer im running is a p28 so i do not need a knock, crank sensor,

i connected it and the car did not start, heres a pik of the instructions maybe some one can tell me where the extras need to go?
All help is appreciated

ok im guessing the ignitor in the obd0 is different from the obd1?
and looking at the diagram above do you know where those cables go?

you have to get a jumper harness for the dizzy but you are going to need to get an dobd-1 diizy and take all the internals out. Then you need to get a y8 dizzy and take all the internals out. Put all the obd-1 internals and put them in your y8 dizzy.

I have heard that you can take the obd-1 internals and put them in a obd-0 si dizzy and that should work although I have never tried this my self.

Oh and just in case when you get it all ready you might have to swap the 2 solid white wires on you chassis side dizzy plug. I had to do that when I converted to obd-1

OBD1 and OBD2 dizzy send the same ECU pulses so what is the reason for swapping their internals?

so thats why when i put the ecu the car wouldn't start. different pulses from obd0.. k cool, now onto the wires,
my motor has all the stock obd0 manifolds and a y8 long block, running a p28 i dont have a knock sensor and i dont have a IAB or a Crank position sensor.
i just isolate those cables??

also in the diagram,

blue - o2
white - o2
violet and gray - vtec

green, orange, - I DONT NEED?

red or pink power - (iab, 02 blk white?)
black or brown - (scs, vrm, 02 grn wire?)
yellow - check engine port

Green and orange you wont use you will need to wire in a 4wire o2 from that harness and then swap out the dizzy to a obd1 and rewire it it should be wire colored the same way.. And hook up vtec and the pressure switch.

red or pink power - (iab, 02 blk white?) This wire goes to the 02 blk/white wire
black or brown - (scs, vrm, 02 grn wire?) This wire goes to the 02 ground wire
yellow - check engine port This wire is you check engine light diagnostic hook this wire to a switch toggle and then run a diffrent wire to you chassis ground metal center consol ground that and then when you flip the toggle it will blink you codes.... If you read the instructions you wouldn't have to ask questions..

And when you do your dizzy wiring it might be confusing get a obd1 dizzy and cut the plug of the obd1 harness both plugs then just cut the ones of your obd0 harness and solder the new plugs. And you have the color diagram on the instruction paper... Read carefully..

WTF....ignore this guy.....

you have a y8 so use a y8 dist, you dont need any fancy jumper, just go to the wreckers and grab the pigtail from the harness for the dist, then you can either depin and repin the harness side so it plugs into your y8 dist or resolder the wires, as for colours on the dist, read: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/obd0-obd1-distributor-wiring-1349052/

opps beat me to it, lol ^^^^
