JDM Front End Conversion T Bar?
No. You don't need it. Tthe EF8 and ED9 T-bars are identical, fitment wise. The difference is that the EF will have a slot for an air duct. So if you don't have that, you're left with an ugly empty hole.
You're looking for the EF6 Tbar, which is from a JDM car with a non-vtec engine, but with the EF8 front end. Fairly rare.
Use your own Tbar. Unless you want to shell out over a hundred bucks for something that can be a $5 fix with washers. And nobody can tell anyway.

Hellz dude that is way too complicated.
All you need to do is shim out the T-bar, and shorten the latch stud length. The stud has a noth for a screw driver. Just rotate it like a bolt.
The T-bar is mounted under an angle. So shimming it out will also raise the latch. That's why you need to shorten the stud a bit.
Drilling holes, pushing and pulling on frame work...what the hell?

Didn't look that bad to me. I have the ef6 bar, so i didn't have to mod mine at all. Just trying to help with solutions from people who have done it.
