I found a 1988 integra engine at a junyard for 100 bucks , will this bolt directly into my 1990 crx si ? Is this engine pretty much the same as the "ZC" , like can I use the same tricks to turbo it as people do with the "ZC" , usinng the HF manifold and stuff. If it does fit , what changes do i have to make to make it run in my car , like ignition stuff? Thanks.

 

Its a "D" series, but not worth it. It has roughly 118hp at the crank, so you will put less down at the wheels. Although it may look like a ZC, it isnt. The mounts are different.

 

I agree... its not worth all the trouble to drop it in a CRX... however.. if you ever plan to get a ZC buy this motor and use it for parts it will come in very handy....
just my opinion...

 

as said above the mounts are different on the teg motor so it won't bolt right into the crx chassis. but crxtreme27 gave you some good advice...if you decide to pickup the ZC, get the teg motor as a spare parts motor.
