well i have searched around and never really found a "clear" answer on how to install jdm nonpower folding visors on a usdm crx with door mounted seatbelts.
https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...x+access+honda
well that is the link that seems to say they found the right answer to "modifying" jdm ef8 non power folding mirror honda access visors, but i dont see proof in pictures and i also dont see a solution except to leading to distroying a discontinued and extremely rare item.
what i want to do is somehow install the visors without breaking or altering anypart of the visors. I will alter the car itself to fit these visors. as it is stated in the thread above in the hyperlink these people discussed how the jdm ef8 visors wont fit the usdm door mounted crx's due to the bpillar/ door sash because apparently the visor is wider than the given space on the car door due to the enlarged pillar. every crx that was produced outside of the us was designed with pillar mount seatbelts but usdm came out with door mounted seatbelts.
here is a picture of the honda access window visors for 88-91 crx with non powerfolding mirrors purchased from password jdm
as you can see they barely fit the car, but they dont fit perfectly because they are too long and if you try to fit them they wont stay in place allowing a few clips to pop out of place..............so imagine going 90 mph on the freeway and all of a sudden 200 bucks flies away.......ya so smashing into a small place is NOT a good idea.
pictures:

i did not! break any clips or modify the visor itself. but if you look closely i did make an outline to how much the visor overlaps the pillar. what i plan to do is cut out with a dremel the pillar and allow enough space to make the visor fit inplace and also clip onto the car without being smashed in place.
so here is a picture:

so in theory if i were to cut out the space the visor needs it will fit! because it will give enough space to have the visor clip into place. essentially making the usdm 90 crx door pillar an 88 jdm door. imo but it will fit an 88 crx with no problem
i still have to cut out these parts so i will post tomorrow the results. id rather cut a less valuable item rather than a rare part.

if cutting it doesnt work cant you pry the molding a bit and stick it under? or even just buy new ones attach the visor and then put in the new molding???

no because if you do that the visors warp and leave a bulge right where the visor starts to veer downwards. itll just squish the visors. and give stress on the adhesive strips. now you see where the previous people attempted what your thinking. if you do that the second clips pop off.

and now that i think about it there are 2 people on ebay who are selling visors for crx. what i suggest people to buy are the non power folding mirrors set because unless you have power folding mirrors itll be harder to install on top of this current problem for 90 crx
