i have a 91 std hatch with a dohc zc swap im wondering if it would be worth it to swap a ls moter out of a 97 integra that i for a trade for a truck. should i spend the money on a bunch of parts to make this work and just part out the teggy afterwards or should i just keep the zc in it?

 

an ls swap to me would be worth it.

 

it is worth doing because its an upgrade. i dont know what kind of smog emission laws there is where you live but that swap will pass smog.

 

we dont have any here ive ran a test pipe on almost all my cars.

yea it does :p . but the dohc zc isnt terribly slow either. if you don't intend on doing really many other mods and the zc runs pretty well, then i dunno if i'd waste my time. but if the zc is pretty migh mileage, not running so great, and/or you want a dif engine that you will have better choices as far as aftermarket parts are concerned, then go with the b18b.

Its worth it. I have a 91 civic std with a stock ls. just bolt ons and advanced timing, act 6 puck hd clutch, and a traction bar. And i ran a 14.6 at the track. With cheap street tires.

after driving both I'd take an ls over a b16 any day....

I gotta 90 hatch with an ls swap. Some crower 404's, usdm b16 pistons, and the head shaved, with a jdm b16 tranny with lsd. Runs 8.40's in the 1/8 mile
