Default Ek brake conversion with integra one questions???

I read the FAQ about brake disc conversion but im still kinda confused on what do I need to complete the swap.

I got a 97 Honda Civic CX and the front brakes are about to go. I dont want to buy replacement because I got a spare 94 ls integra (wrecked) that i'm planing to take the whole disc (front/rear) and put it onto my civic.
- My questions are what do i need to buy to complete the swap?Parts number plz.
- Can i use my civic MC instead of the teg?
- What kind of brake lines do i need?
- Anything else i need?
- How long does it take to do the swap?

ps. Can I use integra suspension on my ek?

Thank you

you can still use ur mc if you dont want to change it out...ive use it for on an older car i used to have was an 98 dx hatch..you need the brake lines from the teg to complete the swap..also you need to keep your lower control arm from the civic on...note if you use the teg its shorter...its a pretty easy swap...it took me a couple of days cuz i was doing the swap by myself and some of the bolts didnt want to loosen...good luck bro

1. You can use the brake lines from the Integra with no problems.

2. Yes you can keep your stock MC but you're not going to get the benefits of having bigger brakes with your small MC. A perfect MC swap for your car would be a 99-00 Si MC, you can keep your stock brake booster (same as Si) and stock prop valve (same as Si).

3. To make the Integra front brakes fit on your EK, you're going to need to use your stock EK UCAs (Upper Control Arms). Other than that it is a perfect fit.

4. Use a flare nut wrench to take your stock brake lines off, get at least 2 bottles of brake fluid. Another thing you'll need is patience and elbow grease.

5. How long depends on if you run into any issues and having the right tools. But overall should take a couple hours depending on your pace.

6. What parts of the Integra suspension do you want to use?

Thank you for the above replies help me out alot.

The part of the suspension i want to use is the shock and springs, they are oem. I m just riding on some ebay crap from the previous owner, and gf is complaining about ride quality lol . I just dont have money right now to buy a new set of coil over and want to use the teg as a temp fix.

Well the springs you can use, but the shocks are a little tricky. The fronts will bolt up no problem, the rears you will need to use some kind of spacers/washers to make them fit.

Reason is that the EK LCA (lower control arm) is thin, the Integra rear shock fork is designed to fit onto an Integra LCA which is much thicker than the EK LCA. Just add a few washers/spacers/etc and it will fit.

I am currently doing something similar to this right now, but I am using integra rear, I had to order the integra rear ABS sensors because the EK ones did not fit the integra brakes
I don't think its gonna be possible for you even if you use integra spindles, you need the complete trailing arms from a ABS integra.
because the mounting points for the ABS sensors

dont try an use the integra brake hoses up front. they will rub....get ones from a 99-00SI because the location of the hard line is differant on an ek, which makes the hose a differant length.
