VTEC T-stat part # change

a Honda parts guy told me the coolant stat was changed from # 19301PO8316 to # 19301PAA306 he said either it was redesigned or they have a new vendor. it seems to be lower priced than it was. is it still a quality denso part or is this now a China crap part or whatever?

If your car is a 1995 Accord EX, the listed Honda part # at slhonda.com are:

19301-P08-315 (Fuji Thompson)

19301-P08-316 (Nippon Thermostat)

The other number you list of 19301-PAA-306 would also be a Nippon Thermostat brand.
