my friends integra starts sputterin when you give it gas sets fine but when you gas it or take it between 2500/3800 it sputters again i checked the plugs,wires,and changed the fuel filter and nothing need help only car he has to get to work......maybe injectors...?

Does it do this with or without a load on the motor.

If it does it only with a load generally its fuel related easy fix fuel filter and check ur fuel pressure (make sure when u turn the key to on u get pressure when it primes then start up makes sure ur fuel pressure falls within specs then do a max output clamp the return line and rev it and make sure ur max output is in specs, dont skip this one most people do) no dice the check ur coil and ignitor box, cap and rotor.

If it does it with no load on the motor and putting a load on it doesnt makes it any worse, its not fuel ur looking at igniton and timing

If it does it with no load and gets worse with load start with fuel

Also check ur tps if its nothing with the fuel or ignition its a sensor before you go hunting this problem down if u know someone whos a mechanic have them throw it on a diag. compture (and not the kind u get at autozone im talking the kinda that shows u ur sensor outputs) this will help u track down the problem quickly
