I am perfectly fine with the list.

The H3 never should have been created.

The S2000 should have been cut a couple of years ago.

I was a fan of the Lexus. But i'll never own one, so, who cares.

yeah but the s2k is Honda's supercar, in a way. it sucks that they are gonna stop production on it. what else is left? the new Si? i mean come on, no offense but the only thing that car is good for is the motor and i personally prefer the B series over the K.
aside from the s2k, there hasn't really been a nice Honda out after 2000-01 really

yeah it sucks they are going to stop production of the s2k. but with the new S2300 on its way i think everything will be good, it may not be as cool looking in my opinion but its still going to replace the s2000 so it will have to be a good car. and not to say the new v10 all wheel drive nsx thats going to be available in 2011. it produces 550hp and ran 2 seconds slower on the nurburgring then the gtr skyline. hondas plan is to beat the skyline before production in 2011. if you havent heard about that you should do some research. its awesome. and sounds amazing.

 

Honda will produce a new flagship car some time; either under the Honda or Acura badge.

Even though it isn't here in the states, the Mugen Civic RR is bad ***. Nothing that can compete w/ supercars like the GT-R, but, it can hang w/ the S2000 all day long.

 

yeah the next nsx has been cancled as of now. honda is going more with hybrid crap.

well it isnt the first Honda car to get the trip to the Bone Yard. But it will be a sad one for some of us but personally I think that it is time for the s2000 to take a break. and we all know it was definatly time for the Gaylude

 

why do you say that, hope you realize H22's gave K20's a run for their money all day long even with 10 year old technology

 

They should have stopped making S2000s 5 years ago.

 

why do you say that? s2k's are beautiful in design and great power. yes they might be a lil pricey but Honda needs a nice "supercar" in their lineup aside from the acura models. i loved how it kept the "box" look and not the round shaped look like most newer cars. i.e. the new civic models.
do you think the prices will drop now that this is happening or going to happen?

 

look at my avatar. I own an S2000. i wanted them to stop making them so I would see less driving around...

 

because Honda originally planned on doing so 2 years ago. but sales were really good for the car. i'm personally glad they finally decided too. i know a lot of vintage owners who are happy too.

That's because people want these cars. You get to a point when the s2k just really isnt worth the cost of production.

Did Honda go back on their announcement that plans for successor to the S2k and NSX have ended?

 

i think he's not up to date...Honda still has the V8 program but are not putting anything more performance oriented into production. this also includes the "s3000" and CR-Z convertible.

I couldn't believe one person said it, and I don't what to say now that two people on this thread have called the S2000 "Honda's Supercar" If anything the NSX was "Honda's Supercar". and it too wasn't so super after about the first 5 years of production, but good ole HOnda kept making them anyway.

 

i just always funny that the NSX and S2000 ran the same quarter mile...and the NSX was supposed to be a supercar...don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic car, just way too over-priced for what you get

 

maybe Honda will be like toyota and only produce a fwd sports car.

 

i wished this would of happened a lot sooner then it did...but then again websites always have been stating that s2000 is ending but never did
