These young guys in my town couldn't. 11 pm at the convenience store. They came in talking to each other about how the young babe must be the owner of the yellow R parked outside. I guess they didn't look too closely. At a glance, if you see a young woman and a middle aged guy, sure, you might think it's the woman. Maybe they even noticed that she's got skin tight clothes and a lot of makeup, and that the guy was balding and paunchy, and even heard her talking on her cell phone in Spanish, and were still betting on the lady up until the point where she got in her truck and drove off. If they had looked even closer, they wouldn't have missed the big tip-off: the older guy was wearing a t-shirt with a picture of a steering wheel and the name of a racetrack (Grattan) in big letters across it, one of those shirts they give out at the BMW CCA track events. NOW which one would you guess is the ITR owner?

I love to do that to people who never expect to see an old guy driving an R...

I can believe it. My dad takes my car out every once in a while when his Cobra isn't running, and he says people look at him funny all the time. He just shrugs it off, but he says it gets old.
