my ITR read about the same exact number on the same kind of dyno. I was told that was an average number for an ITR with those mods.

I think that is pretty stellar in terms of WHP. You're doing fine. Now if you want cams you'll get some crazier numbers.

1) what kind of intake, header and exhaust?
2) did you (or anyone else) do any "tuning" on the dyno, or just some baseline runs?
3) some fresh sparkplugs, rotor/cap and even wires couldn't hurt (if that wasn't done already (maybe even send the injectors out for cleaning)
4) try a dynojet now (as is) and see what you get ... and again with some of the above work done.

put some bolt-on.

I did 180 WHP and 130 WTQ with stock type R JDM

Bolt-on :

- AEM 3'' Cold Air Intake
- N1 Apex-i Catback
- Test-pipe
- OBD1 tuned by Ectune

With dynojet dyno.

1.intake passwordjdm chamber, dc 4to1 2 1/2, no cat 2 1/2 invada catback and a 65mm tb
2.just baseline runs to see how it does..
3.fresh plugs would be nice and everything else you said and who can clean my injectors or should i just buy some 310 and get a tune for them.
4. As soon as I can find someone that has one I will..

well they say you add 17% to your results from a dyno danamics to get close to dynojet results if that the case then I did close to 176 est.

I was thinking about getting a new intake because I heard from the grape vine that the power chambers suck, they say just use a 3in intake with a good filter is this true..

The power chamber/J's probably isn't that bad.

I'm pretty sure some dyno tune time and/or a a/f gauge would help tuning the base map.

Also, I mentioned looking at the injectors because back when I was having work done on my first ITR I'd sent the injectors out to get inspected/cleaned, and one of them was down to ~182 cc/min and the other ones were about where they were supposed to be (at around 238-240). Even if you went and got some used 310's I'd still have them checked out first.

One of the long time, older known places is http://www.rceng.com/ and they give a before and after number (as I recall).
There are others that provide "cleaning services" but I'm not sure if they measure the injector flow numbers or discribe the flow pattern before/after like RC.

An adjustable fuel pressure regulator could be used if the injectors are getting maxed out (to up the fuel pressure), but you'll need to see if you're leaning out at the top end using the A/F during the tuning session to find out, and then probably re-tune at the higher fuel pressure. (ask the tuner)

P.S. a "good" header "could" be worth another ~5+ whp over that DC 4-1 ...

thanks for all the info Im going to go get a good tune next week maybe then Ill get some better #'s. But about the a/f I have a the print out from the dyno and at about 7250 it was about 13.9 and going upto 14.1 at 8000 I think it is leaning out in higher rpms. One more question i do have a adjustiable fuel pressure regulator what should it be set at. sorry to be a dumb *** about all of this. thanks

I need to get my R Dynochart up but.

I made 178whp and 125tq on a 96 spec JDM ITR motor w/ the following.
Ebay Steel Intake Tube and K&N filter.
Hondata IM gasket (cleaned the PCV gunk out the inside of the TB and the intake mani runners)
JDM 4-1 header
Test Pipe.
Stock 00 Civic Si exhaust piping (stupid I know)
Tuned by one of my really good buddies on Crome.

That was in my Si. I need to get it retuned now that the motor is in the R.

*edit*
My dyno is on a DynoJet at sealevel SAE corrected.

I think you should get yours tuned as a basemap is just that, a basemap to get you to the dyno.
My timing was very conservative, very close to stock.
