Hey im looking to get 2 subs what can i get for about 300 (ebay prices) for 2 subs alone. I want like really clean sound but really hitting hard and loud. The kinds that you can hear coming and setting off car alarms

Also what kinda amp would any one here reconmend

 

you are not gunna get that much for only 300 for 2. good clean sounding subs cast more that jsut loud subs. you might wanna check out kicker, or some of the w3 jl's.......................

Actually I purchased 4 - Volfenhag 10" subwoofers and two 1600 watt amps to push them a few months back, well I started with my testing and setup a box for 2 subs and one amp... and I didnt even have to turn the gain up on the amp and them fawkers POUNDED! Sounded good, and with the metal cones it was easy to tell when you were playing them too hard. It was so loud I just sold the other pair of subs and amp and only used one set. And its not because im a wuss, im a bass head - SPL competitor (taking a break though) and it was damn loud. And for like $150-$175 for a PAIR of em you cant go wrong!

there was someone in the R forum selling his sub box for cheap, do a search and see if you could find him. I looked but gave up. Atleast i told ya right...

 

i have 2 brand new factory refurbished rockford power series dvc 12", RFR2212, i will sell for $400 for the pair. they were like $500 + each retail.
