Default Binghamton locals?

may have an opportunity for a job out that way.
Just curous if there's any life out there.
seems kind of in the middle of nowhere, but Watkins glen is only an hour or so away, and i have some Snowboarding about 40 minutes away, Not too bad.

I assume there are NO local tuner shops or tuners for that matter as well.

Anyone have some insight?

they have a college, shitty winters and Watkins Glen is the bomb. I grew up in Rochester which is north same distance from Watkins Glen. Lime Rock/Pocano's/Jersey Motorsporsts park too.

Depends on where you live now and how you like it. For someone in CA or Texas it would suck.

im in cincinnati ohio.

30 minutes from a little skii hill
45 minutes from Bluegrass motorsports park
1 hour from putnam
2.5 hours to mid ohio

I really don't have anything holding me back, to be honest it sounds like i would be moving right back to where i am now haha. just different people.

For tuner shops, go to a well respected shop that can do the work. It would be a shame if you ruined your car going to a shadetree mechanic.

binghamton isnt too bad. i live about an hour from there. but yeah its mostly a snowy college town and since its upstate, closest larger city is probably syracuse. its not too far from pa and if you dont mind the drive, evans tuning is south in Easton PA which is where i get tuned at. pococno and the glen are probably the closest well known road courses.

I live in binghamton ... not to much of a scene the past 2 years but its picking back up most people hang out in the spring and summer on front street across from bcc in a parking lot or in ramdom paring ramps Downtown . Just be prepared to see alot of RICE and alot of haters ! We have skyview drags on friday night thats a 1/8 mile track about 15 minute drive from binghamton other then that its centrally to everything in the northeast . If you do end up moving here through me a Pm sometime and ill let you know where people will be if you would like to come hang out

Yeah, i've spent sometime up there too... Kind new to the scene and lots of ricers up there, but its nice and quiet. As far as tuning Jeff Evans, Yosolo (mostly k's), MB Racing in NJ, or you can come out to long island (2hr drive) and have your choice of Midnight Auto, NRG Tech, or DRT in queens. Your options are limitless, if you're willing to travel.

Not to mention, you can also come to our mini meets, Jared, Keith, myself, and a couple more guys.

winters def suck....it was sunny out today like it should have been 70+ degrees out yet it was 30 and windy as f*ck...there isnt any real nice shops around here...im about an hour away from binghamton and have been there a lot...not too many shows around here either just a few small ones...STM is about a 2 hour drive for you up in Rochester(they have the worlds fastest stock block evo until it blew up last year) ...as for tracks like road courses i just know of WG which isnt open to the public much but theres a huge gathering on opening day for "paced laps" around the track which my group hit well over 100mph on the straight away... NYIRP is one of the nearest quarter miles and Skyview is the local 1/8th mile which is 10 minutes from binghamton
