Building from a non-rolling shell.
I'm thinking about buying a non rolling shell, has absolutel nothing in it, except the body, doors, and fenders and just want people's opinions as to what I may be missing I need to do.
First off this would be for a circle track car, so I don't need much, just the basics to get it running and add cage lexan windshield, fuel cell, seat..
Need rear springs, struts, lower/upper control arms, trailing arms with brakes and toe compensators, rear sway bar
brake lines, gas lines, prop valve, master cylinder, brake booster,
front suspension including the subframe, lower/upper control arms, sway bar, spindles with brakes, radius rods, front subframe, engine mounts
steering rack, steering column, pedals, shifter and linkage, tranny, motor, axles, complete wiring harness, motor and interior, along with resister box, ECU.
If I get it, it'll be a big job to get it back on 4 wheels and running, but I do have pretty much every part I need to get it rolling again minus brake/gas lines and front subframe.
Am I missing anything?

i would just buy a rolling shell saves pointless work and if its a circle track car then it doesnt really have to be pretty so you could pick one up for cheap
yeh save you self days of work and pick up a 200 dollar rolling shell, part out everything you dont need and prob make alot of that 200 back. and if it is a circle track you dont need a title right? picking one up without a title will be SUPER cheap. save yourself the work. for real.
My circle track civic came near race-ready for $275(only needs seat and harness). Not sure of your rules or what you are going for in the end, but if I were you I would find something built, unless you have the time/money to play with it.
