I have been following the stories and comments surrounding Mr. ITR Thief, and frankly, I'm appalled. Why do we put up with Thief? To begin at the beginning, if I said that it is hate-filled to question Thief's refrains, I'd be a liar. But I'd be being utterly honest if I said that only the impartial and unimpassioned mind will even consider that my purpose here is not to arraign him at the tribunal of public opinion. Well, okay, it is. But I should point out that my current plan is to embark on a new path towards change. Yes, Thief will draw upon the most powerful fires of Hell to tear that plan asunder, but it doesn't do us much good to become angry and wave our arms and shout about the evils of his vituperations in general terms. If we want other people to agree with us and join forces with us, then we must defy him. Where are the solid statistics that prove that Thief understands the difference between civilization and savagery? I've never seen any. Yet, I cannot conceive of any circumstance under which his double standards could be considered appropriate. We can therefore extrapolate that he would have us believe that going through the motions of working is the same as working. That, of course, is nonsense, total nonsense. But Thief is surrounded by antisocial cozeners who parrot the same nonsense, which is why he wants to revile everything in the most obscene terms and drag it into the filth of the basest possible outlook. It gets better: He actually believes that children should get into cars with strangers who wave lots of yummy candy at them. I guess no one's ever told him that the problem with him is not that he's deceitful. It's that he wants to lead us, lemminglike, over the precipice of self-destruction. We can't stop Thief overnight. It takes time, patience and experience to work together towards a shared vision.

We must understand that not everyone agrees with him. And we must formulate that understanding into as clear and cogent a message as possible. It is similarly noteworthy that I try never to argue with Thief, because it's clear he's not susceptible to reason. In closing, we must work together to respond to Mr. ITR Thief's hijinks. Together, we can make a difference. Forever and always.

I agree with some of what you say, but disagree with some also.

ITR Thief cannot be understood. He does what he does because he is selfish and doesn't care what others think. He only cares for himself. He knows our cars are profitable...even more so to your average Honda stunna/riceboy...so he takes what he can to benefit himself. He does not care about the repurcussions of his actions. He knows most of you wouldn't not physically hurt him if you had the chance. He knows our justice system is weak and that we are a society that breeds off insurance, so either way everyone will be taken care of. He is petty and stealthy. He is a coward that goes shopping at night for our hard earned possesions. He knows that he can work the system to his advantage. He does not have a real education therefore theft is all he knows. This is his full time job. His theft and profitability bring him happiness in some sick sort of way.

We ought to worship improvident miscreants (especially the grungy type) as folk heroes? Mr. ITR Theif has his moral compass in tact? This is the best of all possible worlds and that ITR is the best of all possible people? These are all claims made recently by ITR Theif. Here's a quick review: Each rung on the ladder of sadism is a crisis of some kind. Each crisis supplies an excuse for ITR to confuse, befuddle, and neutralize public opposition. That is the standard process by which frightful, morally crippled mystics create profound emotional distress for people on both sides of the issue. I correctly predicted that he would preach fear and ignorance. Alas, I didn't think he'd do that so effectively -- or so soon. Every time ITR gets caught trying to combine, in a rare mixture, bestial cruelty and an inconceivable gift for lying, he promises he'll never do so again. Subsequently, his shock troops always jump in and explain that he really shouldn't be blamed even if he does, because, as they suspect, a plausible excuse is a satisfactory substitute for performance.

He ignores a breathtaking number of facts, most notably:

Fact: I am shocked and completely appalled that he could voice the classes of gross lies and historical misrepresentations that he so often does.

Fact: Even the most rigorous theoretical framework he could put forward would not leave him in the position of generalizing with the certainty to which he is prone in his whinges.

Fact: His flimflams are a conduit that funnels impetuous thoughts into the heads of invidious pamphleteers (especially the nettlesome type).

In addition, the real question here is not, "Whatever happened to community standards?". The real question is rather, "In view of his self-centered writings, what does it make sense for us to do now?" To ask that question another way, to what degree is he going to introduce disease, ignorance, squalor, idleness, and want into affluent neighborhoods? If I'm not horribly mistaken, there's a painfully simple answer. It regards the way that he would love to see me run around like a chicken with its head cut off. So don't feed me any phony baloney about how merit is adequately measured by his methods and qualifications. That's just not true. I would like to put forth the possibility that if you read between the lines of ITR's effusions, you'll sincerely find that this is not wild speculation. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is documented fact.

So we're supposed to give ITR permission to sanctify his depravity and hope he's rational enough not to do so? How incredibly naive! He wants to change this country's moral infrastructure. Why he wants that, I don't know, but that's what he wants.

His methods are much subtler now than ever before. He is more adept at hidden mind control and his techniques of social brainwash are much more appealingly streamlined and homogenized. One could truthfully say that ITR should just face the facts. But saying that would miss the real point, which is that at no time in the past did what I call noxious hucksters shamble through the streets of cities, demanding rights they imagine some supernatural power has bestowed upon them. On the issue of interdenominationalism, he is wrong again. Sure, ITR's simplistic reasoning follows the same fallacies as so many other treatises on similar issues. But I cannot compromise with him; he is without principles. I cannot reason with him; he is without reason. But I can warn him, and with a warning he must definitely take to heart: If he isn't sententious, I don't know who is.

ITR's spin doctors want to dominate the whole earth and take possession of all its riches for one purpose and one purpose only: to enact new laws forcing anyone who's not one of ITR's apologists to live in an environment that can, at best, be described as contemptuously tolerant. I may be opening a Pandora's box by writing this, but ITR is the picture of the insane person on the street, babbling to a tree, a wall, or a cloud, which cannot and does not respond to his analects. Look at what's happened since he first ordered his chums to provide unconscionable conspiracies with the necessary asylum to take root and spread: Views once considered fork-tongued are now considered ordinary. Views once considered overbearing are now considered perfectly normal. And the most besotted of ITR's views are now seen as gospel by legions of evil swindlers.

Onanism, as a social philosophy, is disrespectful. This is all well and good, but I am deliberately using colorful language in this letter. I am deliberately using provocative phrases that I hope will stick in the minds of my readers. I do ensure, however, that my words are always appropriate and accurate and clearly explain how if you were to try to tell ITR's deputies that when some libidinous freeloaders first introduced me to his discourteous activities, I felt that civilization had reached a nadir of bleakness, they'd close their eyes and put their hands over their ears. They are, as the psychologists say, in denial. They don't want to hear that ITR contends that all minorities are poor, stupid ghetto trash. Sounds rather neo-indecent, doesn't it? Well, that's ITR for you. In the immediate years ahead, ITR might be diagnosed with a special type of mental illness that is not yet recognized. But for now, be aware that I would certainly be surprised if he stopped to communicate and share ideas with even one of the people he regularly attacks. That said, let me continue. There is no place in this country where we are safe from his emissaries, no place where we are not targeted for hatred and attack. As one commentator put it, it is easy to see faults in others. But it takes perseverance to place a high value on honor and self-respect.

Still, we shouldn't jump to conclusions, even though it is a known fact that if Fate desired that ITR make a correct application of what he had read about clericalism, it would have to indicate title and page number, since the ribald fool would otherwise never in all his life find the correct place. But since Fate does not do this, I have a dream, a mission, a set path that I would like to travel down. Specifically, my goal is to restore the ancient traditions that ITR has abandoned. Of course, those of us who are still sane, those of us who still have a firm grip on reality, those of us who still contend that his sermons reek like rotten eggs, have an obligation to do more than just observe what he is doing from a safe distance. We have an obligation to call for a return to the values that made this country great. We have an obligation to fight scurrility and slander. And we have an obligation to step back and consider the problem of his practices in the larger picture of popular culture imagery. Now, lest you jump to the conclusion that there is something intellectually provocative in the tired rehashing of effete stereotypes, I assure you that it will not be easy to face our problems realistically, get to the root of our problems, and be determined to solve them. Nevertheless, we must attempt to do exactly that, for the overriding reason that if ITR makes fun of me or insults me, I hear it, and it hurts. But I take solace in the fact that I am still able to take up the all-encompassing challenge of freedom, justice, equality, and the pursuit of life with full dignity. As far as I can tell, eccentric anarchists speak in order to conceal -- or at least to veil -- their thoughts. But it goes further than that; his claim that he has a "special" perspective on expansionism which carries with it a "special" right to create an ideological climate that will enable him to make people weak and dependent is not only an attack on the concept of objectivity, but an assault on the human mind.

On that note, let me say that I am certain that if I asked the next person I meet if he would want ITR to adopt approaches that have not been tested to try to solve problems that have not been well-defined, he would say no. Yet we all stand idly by while ITR claims that divine ichor flows through his veins. Before I leave this issue, let me share an interesting finding from a recent poll: Four out of five people surveyed insist that if he would abandon his name-calling and false dichotomies, it would be much easier for me to free people from the fetters of deconstructionism's poisonous embrace. Insipid cult leaders like ITR always lie. Even an occasional truth is intended only to cover up a bigger falsification and is therefore, itself, a deliberate untruth. If one needs a sign that he is pretentious, consider that he keeps saying that the boogeyman is going to get us if we don't agree to his demands. Isn't that claim getting a little shopworn? I mean, I'm not writing this letter for your entertainment. I'm not even writing it for your education. I'm writing it for our very survival.

It probably sounds like I'm being irrational, but ITR's arguments would be a lot more effective if they were at least accurate or intelligent, not just a load of bull for the sake of being controversial. Contrary to what ITR would have you believe, my purpose here is not to foster mutual understanding. Well, okay, it is. But I should point out that anyone who hasn't been living in a cave with his eyes shut and his ears plugged knows that his reason is not true reason. It does not seek the truth, but only insane answers, self-pitying resolutions to conflicts.

I have given this issue a great deal of thought, and I now have a strong conviction that I have had to restrain myself from rebuking ITR more vehemently. I've said that before and I've said it often, but perhaps I haven't been concrete enough or specific enough, so now I'll try to remedy those shortcomings. I'll try to be a lot more specific and concrete when I explain that the poisonous wine of faddism had been distilled long before ITR entered the scene. ITR is merely the agent decanting the poisonous fluid from its bottle into the jug that is world humanity. I'd advise him to stop being so hypocritical, and deep down in our bones, we all know why. What I call neurotic dirtbags may possess a mass of "knowledge", but their brains are unable to organize and register the material they have taken in. There are two things about ITR's rantings that I find personally offensive, utterly unethical, and quite sad. One is that ITR needs to calm down and realize that he has gone way too far with his no-compromise attitude. And the other is that we are observing the change in our society's philosophy and values from freedom and justice to corruption, decay, cynicism, and injustice. All of these "values" are artistically incorporated in one person: ITR Theif. Lastly, for those who read this letter, I really hope you take it to heart and pass this message on to others.

The question is how to accomplish it without sacrificing anything. Singapore for example, clean, little to no crime... but you get whipped if you screw up. Steal something and you could (I think?) lose a hand. That accomplishes our goal, but most would consider that cruel and unusual punishment. i.e. they sacrifice things to have that security. You can't chew gum, and if you get caught with enough marijuana there, they could kill you. At least that is my understanding. (I have a friend who went to school there for three years)

Well, I think he means that once "certain" laws go into effect...which become more strict...more laws will follow. Freedom as we know it would change. Innocent until proven guilty could change also.

I'm not saying I agree, but sometimes I feel the need to take the law into my own hands.

There aren't enough cops (or reputable ones) in the US to stop all the crime. Like I said before, I feel this society lives off insurance. It's "the haves" way of feeling compensated for losses. The "have nots" don't seem to care either way. They know they can slip through the cracks. Even if they don't, that's the risk they're willing to take being that our justice system is so flawed.

Of course, this sounds simple, but in reality, the real issue is simple: Mr. ITR Theif tries to assert his autonomy by attempting to devalue me as a person. His morals are so wild that if allowed to go unanswered, their final cost would be incalculable. He wants nothing less than to excoriate attempts to bring questions of sadism into the (essentially apolitical) realm of pedagogy in language and writing, hence his repeated, almost hypnotic, insistence on the importance of his predaceous refrains. Above all, I am not Mr. ITR Theif's whipping boy. If we intend to defend democracy, we had best learn to recognize its primary enemy and not be afraid to stand up and call him by name.
