Ice box vs AEM cai
I had to cut my gsr aem cai down to a 6in nub, so, its time to replace it. Does one have a power advntage over the other? I know the comptech is a little more $$$. Is it worth it? Also, what box and arm for a b18c eg w/ skunk2 IM? Which AEM application a well? I know the gsr one dosnt work. Thanks.
i think they are both about the same performance wise it all comes down to preference....its either stock looking or not ...loud or quiet imo.....i think the loudness factor should have a lot to do with it.....i have cai and the vtec RIPS ...thats why im sticking with the cai....just my .02
i
itim using the type-r one in my ek

Box is safer from water damage than a CAI. Box definately quieter. Box, imo, doesn't look as bling-blingy. A friend of mine saw a very slight decrease in power in certain spots of the power curve when switching from an AEM CAI to Icebox. Think of what you use your car for(daily driving, etc.) and make up your own mind which is better.
Ok nevermind about the vs. stuff. What icebox setup should I use? Type R? Anybody using this setup?
i noticed some low end gains in torque after i installed my icebox. if you click my sig you can hear it in vtec. hth.

the intake arm is for type-r if your using a skunk/r-manifold, and si coupe if you're not,and use the si ice box
