Question to Honda owners who purchased their cars new
So I have always wondered this and I figured I should just ask.
Every Honda I have owned always drops revs at idle when accessories are turned on--especifically when there is more electrical strain involved (ie: headlights, heater, etc).
Now, I was wondering if this has to do with the fact that every Honda I have owned has been used (the "newest one" I have ever owned is my current 00 EK) and because of that, the alternators may have been worn. I have never had an alternator die on me in a Honda though, so I never got to see what it was like having a new one with these cars.
So, my question is, are Honda's this way even when brand new? Or is it worn electronics that lead to this.
I am just wondering because every German car I have owned didn't have this issue. Even my old BMW 2002's.
