Default odyssey steering wheel on 5th gen accord?

hi guys! i own a 95 accord ex accord and i just wanted to make sure i ask as many people possible about this question. the thing is:

i know this is a stretch but do you think a 99-04 odyssey steering wheel would fit a 95 ex accord? i had learned that someone fit a s2000 steering wheel on a 96 ex? and i have a feeling that the 2000 accord steering wheels would fit also, (they look pretty similar) and now i realized that the 99-04 odyssey steering wheel is pretty much the same as the 98-02 acord steering wheel.

what do you think? i found a woodgrain steering wheel for a great price. need to know what you guys think asap. i don't know much abut steering wheels and how the air bags work. one thing im afraid of is that if the steering wheel does fit, that the air bag wouldn't. i don't know how the air bag works. if the stock ecu in my car would be able to work with the odyssey steering wheel?

i've been planning on upgrading my steering wheel for a while now but im just taking my time to find the right one for the right price. i think i've found it, but i just need to know that im not wasting my time buying this thing.

thanks guys.

The airbag in your Accord is a single stage airbag, the airbag in the Odyssey is a dual stage.
It won't work.

ey thanks man, now after reading this im thinking; are the 98-00 accord steering wheels and 02 odyssey steering wheels the same? cuz the 98-00 air bags seem to be single stage, possibly meaning i could use those airbag and fit them onto a 02 odyssey steering wheel. what do you think?

i also found a forum for lexus where a guy re wired a dual stage air bag to work for his singla stage lexus. hrm?... possibility? here's a link if u wanna read more.

n.m. after much exhausting research, it seems that any type of retro fit steering wheel wouldn't work unless i did some major electrical work on the air bag and wheel itself. i own a 95 ex and the plugs and connectors for the air bags and everything is totally different. if i owned a 96-97 accord this endeavor may be possible but as for me, it's way to much trouble for woodgrain steeringwheel. thanks though.

I had a 96 Accord, and I swapped the OEM Steering wheel with an AP1 S2000 Steering wheel. Everything bolted and pluged right up.

Thing with the 95's are the splines are different, and the wheels will not mount on them. You will need to swap your 94-95 Spline with one out of the 96-97 models. Then you can swap the AP1 S2000, Prelude, and I think EK Civic Wheel into the Accord. Keep in mind though, the AP2 S2000 wheel doesnt work, since it is a dual stage airbag. I do not recommend rewiring the airbag at all. Just my $0.02
