Default quick ? about type r valve springs

just to make sure there are 2 different spring lengths. is the intake side supposed to have the longer or shorter springs? vice versa for the exhaust side. pretty sure i got it all put together right, but reassurance never hurt anyone

thanks in advance H-T

AS FOR THE QUESTION INTAKE IS BIGGER ON CIVIC Rs because that is your VTEC cam
BUT TYPE Rs HAVE TWO VTEC CAMS I DUNNO IF YOU GOT TYPE ARE VALVE SPRINGS ARE THEY DUAL?
OH AND A B16 HEAD FLOWS BETTER THAN A TYPE R THATS WHY I USED ALL THE INTERNALS ON IT TO IMPROVE IT
SHOULD BE THE SAME SIZE where did you get the springs and you have to change to the type r cams too for it to work right it would be pointless because the type are springs are only stronger because they have bigger lobes you might actually be losing power if you keep the stock cams
You can replace everything on that motor with type r parts buddy i all type r internals in my head most companies just knock hondas design did it to my lsvtecI REPLACED the oil pump and water pump flow at a higher rate and when you change that out be sure to change to type r cams or it won't work properly a type r, add the type r manifold but skunk2 is the exact replica of hondas version no bigger just smoother flow and just 50 more bucks it is just a built version of the gsr want some real power add a b16 head its got way better flow more top end i had a crx i built running high twelves b18a1 for the torque b16 head and a jdm integra b16 xsi tranny that was the best part best tranny i ever owned threw an ls fifth in there and was toppin at id say redlining 160 SHIFTING AT 9000 i was told 9200 but thats scary to me....maybe 170 supercharged mustangs hated me cuz i would get next to them they would laugh then all they would see is taillights ha ha i love my crx next crvtec is coming i had a type r in one and it wasn't anything like an ls or b20 when i had the type are my bro in his b20 crx would dust me until fourth gear didn't happen with the ls!!!!! Still undefeated in my ls try me six speeds
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT TOOK THIS LONG TO ANSWER THAT QUESTION AND I MAY SOUND STUPID BUT C1 IS THE USD GSR ISNT IT? I LIKED MY C5

AND AS FOR THE TEG SECTION THE ONLY THING THEY ARE GOOD FOR IS THE MOTORS TO PUT IN MY REX I WOULD MODIFID TEGS ALL DAY

I GOT A CHIPPED P28 TUNED FOR A TYPE R THAT WOULD BE GREAT FOR THAT CAR HAS A USB PORT BUILT IN TO HOOK TO MY COMPUTER AND DISPLAY GAUGES AND A DYNO LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE QUESTION WHAT YEAR IS THE B18C1 OUT OF ? AND WHAT OBD IS YOUR COMPUTER

The intake springs in type r heads were coated witha green/yellow paint from the factory, i don't think the exhaust springs got this trreatment.

Look thru them carefully for yellow/gree paint residue.

Wow, that was retarded. I will use proper punctuation for you guys. I believe, i posted the wrong response to that definately! I was a little drunk! I was also trying to read multiple forums. Sorry, just didn't like my type r! The lsvtec with type r internals works better. I forgot that we were in school!
