Ok i'd post this in the body/paint section but the traffic in there is so low. And i just need a quick answer.

But im about to pick up a carbon fiber hood that was painted on top. So is it possible to just sand off the paint and just reclear the hood? Or is it just a waste of time?

 

Its going to take time, but its possible. Do it.

 

I wasn't going to attempt it with my utterly horrid skills at painting anything. Everytime i pick up a can of paint my hand shakes worst then Micheal j. fox. But thanks for the quick reply, picking it up for cheap so thats why i was wondering.

 

use solvent and a rag, or paint remover, and just be quick. wet sand. then tak it somewhere for clear. rattle can clear will look like bigfoots dick. not good.
