Default Knock Sensor Replacement for 2000 Civic EX

hi, does anyone know how much it would cost approximately to replace a knock sensor on a 2000 civic? how much for just the part? can someone who's never done it before replace it or do i need to take it to the mechanic? thanks

If i remember correctly its around a deep 19mm socket.
The only problem is its on the back of the block under the Intake manifold. I did it once with a couple different length extensions. Id recommend doin it when the motor is warm. but not HOT.

The part itself costs roughly $100-130. I'd try to find a used one.
Did yours break physically? Did the wires get pinched?
Are you just throwing the Check engine light or did you dig around first?

A mechanic would probably charge their hourly rate. But it cant hurt to try it yourself.
