Default ABS Question on 96 civic ex

hey guys, my abs light is constantly on and i am trying to find the connector that i believe is located under the steering wheel to get the code, but i cant find it. where is this connector exactly? what is look like? and which pins i have to short with the paper clip? i found a connector with 16 pins which is located close to the door panel on the left of the fuse box but i dont know if that is the right one. so if you guys know how to do it let me know, or even a link is appreciated. thanks
