the da front end doesn't look nearly as bad as the dc one. but why, why would you do that. doesnt make any sense it looks like ****.

 

that angle makes it look a little better. there were some other pics of a red hatch with a da front not to long ago that was done really well (as far as bodyworks concerned). it just still looked like crap cause the lines and dimensions of the da front relative to a hatch/crx rear just dont play very well. certainly looks better than a dc front, but it still looks squirly.

no bs, I have seen a DA front on an ef 4 door before with the JDM front, **** was super sick and clean, not these ricer lights and bumpers. Wish I had a pic man!

 

so what all would be needed for this... headlights/corner lights, bumper, hood, and fenders?

i say let him do what he wants and all you haters get off his back. i like the red one. but it needs a lip to complete it. there is the civtegra on cardomain.com that looks sick as hell i think. when done right it looks good. ive thought about the da front end on my hatch as well. only thing holding me back is its my dd and if i run into a problem im screwed.

DA front looks odd... like somebody stretched it in Photoshop.

 

Although they did a clean job at putting on the front end on the red civic, it looks like a ***** or somethin lol. It looks like something a Paisa would do. Eng. Pysa / Pie-sa (translation - mexican rancher.)
I bet they gained 50hp+ from that front end!!!...
Come on now, why would you waste your time and money on doing that? lol...

 

umm, because you like the way it looks? It's not really functional, it's all about appearance. It's not too common in the Honda world to swap parts between different body styles but if you look at Nissans for example, the S13/S14/S15 parts get swapped around all over the place.

Sometimes it looks like a cow and a mouse had sex, but in this case I think the DA front looks kinda cool. I can't find the thread right now but there's a guy here on HT from Europe with a first gen DA front on his '86 hatch...other than the obnoxious orange paint it actually looks pretty badass.

 

its an EG, but it looks OK... seems a little tooo long though.
