So my buddy didn't know how to pop my hood and jerked the hell out of the hood latch and ruined the cable. What is the easiest way to tighten it? Because now I can't open my freaking hood to check my engine and fluids. Making me not want to drive >.< Thanks.

 

sounds like he broke a end off or maybe the latch in the dash. look and see if the cable is still in the latch lever in the dash and that its moving the cable, if not then just take the cable off the dash and pull it with some pliers. if it still works fine then try to get to the latch under the hood from under the car or bumper and move the bar to unlatch the hood lock.
