Default Acura OEM Parts

Well I'm needing some seals and I want to use OEM parts, however; every site I navigate through doesnt give me all the seals I need. i'm looking for the camshaft seals (revised part number 91203-PR4-004) I'm also looking for the passage side seal and the diagram only shows me the driver side seals. They are probably the same but i dont have a local dealer so I can just drive to town and make an order.

I like felpro and I know thier seals are usually quality products, has anyone tried thier camshaft seals?

If someone knows the seals on acuraoemparts.com or sonacuraparts.com or oemacuraparts.com are using the revised seals then I will just make the order there.

Also is the passanger side cam seal the same as the two on the driver side?

Thank,
Raymond

What is this revised camshaft seal part number? I've always used these parts and never had a problem:

91213-PR3-004 OIL SEAL (29X43X8) (ARAI) $5.19 (2 required)

12513-P72-003 PLUG, CYLINDER HEAD (right side cam seal) $5.44

Prices are from Carland Acura www.acuraautomotiveparts.org

That cylinder head plug is the redesigned cam plug that is plastic with o-rings instead of just rubber that is prone to leakage. I've had that plug in my cylinder head since January 2003 with no issues.

I was not aware of any revised camshaft seals. Carland Acura doesn't even list that as a valid part number.

yeah I looked everywhere for the revised part but never found it. The only place I found it was doing a google search and never found a true "cam seal" but here is a link that I found where I read about it

http://www.enginebuildermag.com/Arti...cura_b18a.aspx

I was just looking for a cam seal and came accross that site

also when I do a google search on the part number 91203-PR4-004 I find its physically bigger than the on you listed. Its 24x43x9

91203-PR4-004 (revised seal) also interchangable with 91203-PFB-013 = 27x43x9
91213-PR3-004 (original seal) = 29x43x8

here is a link to the revised seal = http://www.autodynamics-honda.com/hopr4case.html

Wait, is this for a DA Integra? Disregard the info I posted above then, as that is for a 94 DC2 B18C1 engine.

Carland Acura lists 2 part numbers for the DA B18A1 camshaft seals:

91203-PFB-013 OIL SEAL,27X43X9

91203-PG6-003 OIL SEAL (27X43X9) (NOK)

The 27 should be 27mm inside diameter on that seal. The original seal (and what 94-01 Integras use apparently) has a 29mm inside diameter.

Are you sure that DA's used the PR3 seal originally? I did not see any technical service bulletins on Acuraworld.com's TSB Info page.

yeah I need to measure the camshaft or seal to make sure. It seams that seal is only good for 90-91, however; the articles I'm seeing they are saying all B-series...

I dont know if it has a pr3 seal in it or not, either way we know the seal that needs to go in it should be the PFB-013. Is the PG6 seal the same?

It's the same size, so it should work.

Now I've never had a problem with the 29mm oil seals leaking on my B18C1, and I've replaced them twice in the past 180K+ miles. I wonder if B18A cams are just a hair smaller diameter than B18C1 cams, hence the need for the smaller seals?
