Ok so before people start posting "do a search" on here; Please read my entire post first. If you have actually done this modification or at least helped someome put seats into a DA, I'm looking to hear from you..

I have done extensive searching on honda-tech.com, g2ic.com, team-integra.com and google and I'm running into quite a bit of a problem with trying to put these Del Sol Seats I picked up for my DA.

I've done several searches and have come to the conclusion that there is no definit/detailed "how to" on placing these seats in DA integras. I have come across several posts that have said, "i've done it and/or I'm doing this tonight" and thats it.. no actual pictures or detailed instructions. As well certain sites have links to detailed write ups but now the links have gone dead due to the original post being old or whatever.

So I've gone ahead and tried to swap the rails out from the DA onto the Del Sol assuming that there are modifications to be made, but if you have a look at the (battlecat.8m.com link) I had found there are no clear instructions on how the rear plate of the slider (on the right of the pic below **yellow arrows**) is supposed to attach onto the DA rail itself.

Here's is a pic of the rails side by side..


On top of everything the battlecat link does not provide further details on how to get the other rail on as well. BLAHHHHHH!!!

Sorry if this post is a bit long and confusing but just finding it a little frustrating and asking for positive help/advice people can give who have actually done this mod. I know people have done it and hopefully someone can help.

Is my only next option to get some brackets welded??

edit: do you have better pictures of your DA rails?

i remember reading something about another canadian member having a similar problem b/c the canadian models didnt come with auto seatbelts.

which on the inner rails what you have to do is cut off one of the bolts that the auto-seatbelt mechanism affixes to. and drill it out and use that as a mouting point to the seat frame.
