Hey i've got a 99 civic si with a b16A and i'm looking to install koni yellow(sport) with control. I live in montreal where the roads aren't very car friendly so some people told me not to go with that combo. Some also told me that ground control have a chance of seizing which was a shock to me. What do you guys think, should i go with them? Secondly, i was also looking into D2 racing. Is that a better option?

Any suspension component exposed to the elements can seizing up if anti-seize isn't used, and GC spring perches are no exception (but neither is the stock suspension).

I think Koni Sports and GC sleeves are a great combo. Simply use some anti-seize on the retaining bolt in the perch itself, and don't worry about it.

And no, D2 racing is not a "better option", but it is a cheaper option and might be sufficient for your needs.
