Hey guise, I put a cd player in my hatch and I couldn't find any type of kit that would work with the center consol so it just kind of sits in there on top of the ash tray--I was hoping if any of you had installed them you could put up some pics or link me to a kit that actually works with this dash. TIA!

 

go to your local parts store and get the dash kit for your model. they are like 20$ max.

 

yeah I got the one that they offer and it didn't work very well and I really had to cut it up just to get it in so I figured I'd see if anybody had done anything to make theirs fit and look nice, even if it's custom aybe it'd give me some ideas.

 

i used the radio din from autozone and it worked perfect in my crx no problems whatsoever. maybe you put it in wrong?

 

Putting it in wrong is definitely a possibility, isn't the crx dash a little different though? I'm no pro, do you have pics you could put up?

 

I got this one from meijer, I think anyshop carry's it though. Its the international brand.

was the stock radio in it? cuz you should be able to use the stock piece that surrounds the radio and it should slide right in

 

no radio in when I got it

 

Just go to a pick a part and get it from there.
Small enough to pocket or like 3.50 if you want to be honest.

 

you need that stock bracket (circled in red) comes with all EF. its only 2 screws holding it. go to the junkyard and pocket it, its that small unless you wanna pay like Radim said. the bracket goes into that then the deck which is what is suportting up it up instead of sitting on the Ash tray
