1997 VSM DB8 ITR - Real and Registered!
The time has come for me to part ways with my baby. I want a more track dedicated car and I don't really need 2 cars just sitting in my garage.
Here's a quick run down:
*1997 JDM DB8 ITR
*2 rare 96spec options - ABS and SRS
*Vogue Silver Metallic
*Car is registered. It has the CALIFORNIA BLUE VIN TAG and can be registered there
*102,000Km (~63,000mi)
*98spec 4.78 tranny
*Has A/C & P/S
*4x114
The car will come pretty much all stock. The only things that I am planning on leaving on there are:
J's racing intake duct
J's racing canards
J's Verno windshield banner
Mugen radiator cap
K & N filter
Volk TE-37's
Honda Optional Visors
Maintenance History (When I change something out, I like to do everything around it at the same time):
*The oil is changed obsesively. I think I have changed it at least 8 times since May alone. I only use Mobil 1 and HAMP filters.
*Tranny fluid is 2 months old
*Brand new OEM clutch (installed in November) - less than 1k miles
*Brand new Aasco 8lb flywheel (installed in November)
*Clutch fluid flushed in November
*Brake fluid flushed last April (ATE Type 200) - Will be changed out again before car is sold
*Car was repainted August of '07 at MOBworks
*Brand new OEM motor mounts (installed in November)
This car does not smoke and runs outstanding. I just had it dynoed Jan. 3rd on a Mustang Dyno and their dyno only read up to 7900 RPM (so there was still a little more room to go) and it came out to 162hp. Which equates to somewhere in the neighborhood 186 on a dynojet.
Here are my personal ratings of the car:
*Exterior 8.5/10 - I drove the car to VA and back for the ITR Expo this past summer and picked up a couple of rock chips
*Front seats 8/10
*Rear seats 9.9/10
*rest of the interior 9/10
Most of the parts that didn't meet my standards, were changed out with better parts.
Here are some pics of the car:

Here is a picture of the wheels that will come with it:

Here is a link to some other pictures. A number of these parts will not be included (unless they are wanted - and extra paid) They are the ones listed as Nolan's DB8 ITR:

Price:
$17,500 w/ most everything shown on the car.
or
$16,000 w/ no TE-37's (stock ITR wheels), visors, canards, intake duct, or any other little extras I was going to include.
I can also work at the price inbetween the 2 with certain parts being left on.
I might also consider certain partial trades. Though I am very particular on the car and would actually prefer a car stock or close to it.
More pictures can be provided to serious buyers or until I get the chance to pull off that other parts and get pictures of how she will be sold
Thanks for looking.

Thank you!
Well, in '97 there was only a total amount of 908 of these made for the world (only Japan got them). Then think how many were in VSM, and then how many of those had both of those options!

The car still has all Japanese registration stickers on the windshield, protected by the banner from the sun. It also still has the original dealer sticker on the rear window!
