Default Oil change by hours??

Hi, I recently took my speedo\odo out of my cluster and replaced it with the neptune tunerview 2 lcd, which is working so nicely for the exception that I now have no idea how to interval my regular services (oil change, plugs, etc). I am researching neptune to see if it will eventually have support for an odo within the rtp, but until then I am thinking about picking up an hour meter. My question is, how many hours would you wait to change oil? I am using valvoline vr-1 50w, changing every 2000 miles on car in sig.

thanks

well most heavy eqip goes every 250 hours.

my chevy truck has odo and an hour meter.
so for the 23,628 miles it has been, it has run for 871.3 hours, i have changed my oil roughly every 3k +- so 871.3 / 7 changes = i have changed my oil every 124 hours. again roughly. and this is just normal driving and towing my race car.

on a boosted car i would half that or 2/3 is and change every 100 hours.

i do it by months regardless of miles. i change mine every 2-3 months. weather it's 500km or 4000km the oil gets changed.

i might consider that, i may throw in my other cluster for a week and take an average in order to determine the right interval.

the only thing i do on hours is my motocross bike. its a RMZ (4 stroke) and it turns 17,500 rpms so it gets dumped at about 4 hrs tops.

i would just change my car about every 60-80 days if i had no odometer.

i hope you buy your oil by the case.
