Default Lowes, and oil pickup

Hey guys, for those of you who have run at Lowes, do we need a baffled pan to survive NASCAR 3? The pickup is on the wrong side for roundy rounds.

Nope! Never had a problem with oil pickup. Only that the concrete wall comes up real fast and real close. That and you run out of gear...

Agree. And for those that haven't been there, you really have to "DRIVE IT INTO" turn 3.

no issues with my stock POS ITR.

oil pan may not be needed... big nads will be needed.

Hold it flat! All the way through!

Run out of gear? Not with a stock final drive...Right?

In the CRX, we were seeing the shift light exiting the banking of N4 (Walt prolly saw it sooner than I was - I think I was seeing it by the tri-oval kink thing but never hit the limiter) and he did see it once upon Nascar 3 entry with a RX-7 (?) draft. That is with the 4.7 FD. After a weekend of practices (Friday too), qualifying and an endurance race, we didn't - to my knowledge - see any oiling issues.

H series pans just plain SUCK.. no baffleing what so ever!! I am going to put some small baffles in just to keep the oil from sloshing to much..
