How much paint for painting one car?
i use NAPA Martin Senior paint, costs me about $150-180 to paint a whole car with a bunch of leftovers. Just tell them what your trying to do, and they"ll tell you what you need to buy. Ive never had a problem with their paint

I've been using Deltron DBC for a while now. I've used DRR too but like DBC better because there is no pot life and is mixed 1:1 with regular DT reducer. With DRR you need the reactive reducer. I also use PPG's DPLF epoxy as a sealer. For clear I use 2021. If you're doing all the jambs, under the hood and engine bay then you'll need 2 quarts of sealer, 3 quarts of base, and up to a gallon of clear. Now the amout of paint you need also depends on how much coats you're gonna do and what brand of paint you end up buying. Different brands have different mixing ratios. You need to know how much sprayable material you'll have after it's mixed. I always get a little more than I need and always have paint left over because it's safer to have paint left over than to run out. Plus left over clear and sealer can be used on other jobs. The extra color can be used for touch up's if needed later down the road. With PPG I get 2 coats of sealer, 3 coats of base, and 3 coats of clear when doing color change excluding the engine bay. Though there is enough base left over if I wanted to. The sealer is a 2:1:0.5, base is 1:1, and clear is 4:1:1 mix.
