Projector fog lights for Del Sol's

Made for VW MK5 but I was wondering if this would actually fit the del sol also, with just a little fab work. Anyone else thinking this may work? They have the similiar glass housing shape as the factory del sol fogs.

i'm sure you could get it in there with work...
but it looks like those foglights curve (inwards and down) the opposite direction as the del sol lights (outwards and down). if you tried to put those in the projector would be shining up in the air instead of at the ground.
