Having a strange problem getting real paneling to fit into my 99 civic hatch. I picked up to what i thought was EK9 CTR rear paneling from a local shop here. Didnt get around to putting them on till a few weeks later. Everything seems to line up fine but soon as it gets to the door frame its way off, almost too long and not deep enough to the floor. The part reads

HONDA PP
83780-S03-ZZ00

Could possibly the problem be these came from a 96-98 CTR? Im assuming if thats the case they most likely might not fit into a 99-00 but then again what do i know?

I called the shop where i bought them from, said bring em back well work something out because they dont necessarily even know if they sold me the right ones or not but also said they only carry the CTR rear panels so im confused a bit.

Yeah i should had thought of that. I just went and looked at them again and they are slightly different near the front end of the panels where they join to the door frame. real close tho, only a few inches all around in difference.

must have given me the wrong ones and i didnt even think twice to double check when they pulled them for me.

A little bit confused, you are talking about the front end or the quarter panel??

 

sorry! the full rear quarter panels that run back to the trunk. they get funky lining them up once i try to snap the front end of the panel where it meets the door frame right at the feet of any passengers seating in the rear seats.

Didnt have time yet to take a photo but i grabbed a photo from the site here of exactly where im talking about that doesnt line up right.
