you should have searched, there are tons of stupid threads like this. if you want a good header your going to pay more then 500 but the dchr is fine. ive never heard of the dcrh breaking other than maybe someone didnt upgrade the rear motor mount.

A bunch of guys over on EPhatch.com say that the OBX vers. 3 is a good RH and that it produces more power than the DCRH.

if you have $400+ to spend then get a Buddy CLub RH or if your looking for something cheaper in your range then get a Jackson Racing RH which is hard to find now...I believe there is still 1 in the classifieds in ephatch.com

I've seen around $400 used, but definitely not new.

yeah good luck with both a buddy club for that price. Just buy any header you'll still love it and notice one hell of a difference. DC is IMO best bang for the buck. Cheap yet effective. One thing you can do is cut off the lower hanger, that way the header flex pipe won't crack like you are worried about. That's what I did

I agree with the DCRH being a great deal. I found mine in great shape for $100 and with just a SRI and the header I gained 22whp from stock, and trust me that's a noticeable gain. If only I had some tuning.

I liked my old DC raceheader before I sold it to go turbo. It was one of the best bang for the buck mods I had done when I will still NA. It was cheap and freed up more power than an exhaust ever would think of doing.

With a combination of only a DCRH, AEM CAI, enjo mounts, stock exhaust, stock wheels and tires & kpro only street tuned by myself I ran a 13.8 @ 102

I kinda miss that old setup. At least then I had traction, lol
