I'm going to have to call BS on this one. If there ever was going to be such a model for the S2k, we would have already known about it and the knowledge of its existance would have been made mainstream.
It is an interesting concept though, but what it boils down to is someone with a bit too much wishful thinking.

The NSX R did get titanium pistons.
I wouldn't doubt this car. The term "fake" often accounts for things or events in the present. I emphasize the word often.
This says 2003.

- too good to be true.
360 bhp @ 8300 rpm
230 lb-ft @ 6000 rpm
aluminum alloy block & heads, inline-6 ?
The R gets two extra cylinders on the front of the engine. That alone changes the entire nature of the car. Peak horsepower is way up, to 360 HP. The introduction of VTEC cams on the intake side has also improved low-end torque, so 230 foot-pounds of peak torque are now available at a slightly more tractable 6000 RPM.
- well.. if its true things I guess price will be HUGE

Unfortunately its a well designed hoax although everything described in the article is technically feasible (with the possible exception of Honda building a straight six) there is no way in hell it would cost 'only' 56,000. Come on now, Titanium trasnmission gears and a full composite body structure? thats pure F1 stuff. I know , I know, Honda cut its teeth on F1 and developed all their best goodies there but the article really stretches credulity.
If such a thing existed however I would probably sell my soul, everything I own, and several less essential organs to get it

That's some nice "cold chunking" if I've ever seen it!
