Default GC Replacement Springs Questions

I'm at GC website and looking for replacement springs for my car but I dont understand what I am looking for.

I ask GC tech and the guy is clueless, so I try asking here.

My OTS springs are

200.64.67 Front 380lb? front
230.64.49 Rear 280lb? rear

In GC website it says springs with street springs, 2.5 ID, 2.25ID and so forth, from there there is like lengths, and I have no idea what lengths my springs came in coz. I did not measure them.

and from there let say I choose 6" there is 0600.250.0850

I do not understand this numbers

Could someone help me please. Thanks!

Hey Trevor...I could use some GC advice.

It seems the 700.250.xxx does not exceed 650lbs.

http://www.ground-control-store.com/...gory.php/CA=49

What if I wanted to try a 700lb spring? Can I get a 6" or an 8" and just adjust
the perch? Would there be any advantages or disadvantages to a 6" vs. 8"?
Or can I find higher rates in a 7"?

Thanks...I appreciate the feedback.

You are right, in a 7 inch, 2.5 inch inner diameter, the highest spring rate available is a 650lbs spring. My opinion is going to be different than others on this forum, but I wouldn't recommend going from a 8 inch to a 6inch long spring. If you are trying to get as close to a 700lbs spring; go with the 0700.250.0650. There is a 0600.250.XXXX available up to 1450lbs also, so there is many different options to choose from.
