Are you referring to the pollen filter? The following shows how for a Honda Fit; but, the procedure is similar for most Hondas and Acuras:

If the air filter box is dirty, wipe it with a wet towel or something. I never had to spray anything.

The best way to avoid bacteria build up and mold is to use the fresh air vent as often as possible.

Just open up your glove box. squeeze inward on the two sidewalls of the glove box, and pull down. these side rubber "nubs" hold the glove box up while its open. prop the glove box up with your owner's manual. look in above the a/c blower assembly, and you'll see a tray snapped into place by two tabs. squeeze in on the tabs again just like the glove box sides -->inward<-- and slide the tray towards you. pull that nasty filter out and make sure you replace the new filter, the same way the old one sat in the tray. *you can spray the filter down with a deoderizer for maximum effect. button everything up and there you go.

They're not "hepa" filters. In order to be classified as a hepa filter they need to filter any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 micrometres. They don't so they are not.
