Default Idle/IACV issue

88/89 crx hf - ba8a1 swap

if I plug in my iacv/eacv my idle goes up to about 1500 RPM and bounces about 75-100 RPM if that...I unplug the IACV and I idle at about 6-700 RPM with no flutter or anything...

I have redone vacuum lines - checked for vacuum leaks but can not find one...screwed the plunger and **** back in the FITV (fast idle valve). I even swapped the IACV with a shelf spare I had in the garage off a b16

can anyone confirm (preferably with images) pinout for iacv to wiring harness or ecu - I know on ECU it should be a-11 but I just want to be sure...

or if anyone has any ideas as to what I could be missing

My mechanic discovered a faulty, torn intake manifold gasket on my '89 Hf. I replaced the EGR valve while I was at it. Work still in progress, I'll let you know how it goes.
