When was the last time you did any maintenance to your ignition system (spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor)? If your ignition system hasnt had any attention lately that might be the cause of your problem. Worn out ignition parts tend to cause random misfires (or "jolts" as you called it) usually at high load / low RPM situations.

Try replacing your spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor (spark plugs 4 @ $2.00 each, cap and rotor $25, wires $30-40). Also make sure your air filter is in good condition. If a fuel filter was clogged up you might also notice a misfire in a high load (throttle) condition, but more noticably at higher RPM's.

Their may be other problems as well (such as a worn out or unplugged O2 sensor, or other engine sensors), but always start with the basic maintenance items.

Yep- I just got a '95 accord EX a littile while ago and it had a really bad hesitation, so I replaced all the ignition components this weekend and now it runs nice and smooth throughout all throttle and RPM ranges. I would still suspect the ignition components first over the fuel/air filters tho- but anyway just replace the ignition, fuel filter, and air filters and you should be good to go!
