Default tuned at T1. new numbers

i got tuned at T1 in Texas last week. since my last tuning which was a 1 1/2 years ago, i didnt think it was that long, i changed a few things. im still JRSC with stock block and head.

got bpi stack intake and was there had a problem of running rich etc etc (posted in another thread).

i got these new injectors from tony called bosch 1000cc injectors and all i can say is WOW these injectors are sick. i had the rc 550 injectors in prior and i am running so smoothe after putting these in.

i went from 246hp to 258hp. just wanted to share.

are those some decent gains? anyone else using these injectors?

Are these the bosch 1000cc saturated injectors? Im contemplating running these but still trying to get some more feedback. From your response, I guess they make a noticable difference. can you elaborate more about the cold start and idle characteristics?

the cold start, with my old rc550, my car would start then low idle and turn off. i would have to keep it on the gas pedal until the car warmed up a little then it would stay on.

the weather here has been inbetween 20 F to 40 F in the mornings.

as for the idle, it idles just fine. no jumping or anything. just stays nice and smoothe.

endyn kamikaze header
samco hose with bpi velocity stack intake
thermal 3" exhaust
methanol injection

tuned on hondata s300 to be able to run 2 maps so i dont run methanol all the time and wasting it.
without methanol 237whp
with methanol 258 whp

Wow, Tony is throwing these injectors in everything. Haha.
Who am I kidding.. I'll be using these same injectors in my turbo setup whenever I start focusing on that again...

Nice numbers.

How much boost? So you're not running the LHT setup? What pulley setup? 97-98 or 00-01 motor? I'm running the same header but with 60mm exhaust piping and Mugen Twin Loop muffler, do you think the 3 inch makes a big difference? (I've been trying to decide to switch over for the longest time)

As far as intake I'm running the Comptech box, tube, and filter
RC 440s
Crome
~8.5psi with MVM pulley

I rarely have belt issues, but when I do It's always when I hit the dyno and that sucks and is a big waste of money on dyno time. Everytime I hit the dyno I'd only see 4-6psi. Last time was 6psi because the tensioner was missing and I hit like 215whp

Tony has been quite busy so I call in. I call in each time just to ensure that I get the spot so I do not have to wait etc. If I were you, I would call for an appointment.

His customer service is great. If you have any questions he will be happy to help you. Its kind of intimidating (which you shouldnt be) asking him questions but when you do, he is the nicest person. He answered all my questions and didnt give me the wow your stupid answer tone of voice. He tries to help you in any way possible. hope that helps

I have a 2000 integra. I am not running the LHT setup. I chose methanol injection instead because of two reasons.

I have only had belth issues once which was recently when my belt started to deteriorate and instead of having 4 teeth it was down to 3 and eventually slipped off so i replaced it before I went to go get it tuned. I am currently running about 8psi. i dont know the belt numbers though. sorry.

1. Cost. LHT=1000+. Methanol injection, 250.

2. Dont have to send in your manifold with methanol.

I ran a OBX 3" twinloop and when i switched back to my thermal 3", i felt a big difference. I think you will feel and see a difference with a different exhaust setup. The thermal 3" exhaust is very affordable. Not too much bling but does the trick. That is my opinion. Anyone having contridicting ones please chime in.

Wouldn't you mess up the motor if you ran out of meth though? And where the hell do you get meth? Also, where did you get your thermal from and how much was it?

i ordered my thermal from endyn. just call them and ask for larry. he owns the shop. i do not think it was that expensive. maybe 300 or so? thats for a 3" setup. dont quote me on that though

yes your motor will mess up if you run out. that is why i have a low light sensor. it lights up when i am out. its a bright blue LED so i cant miss it.

to get methanol, you can either order it from the place where you buy your kit. in my case it is snow performance. or now i found a place in town that sells it. some people hve methanol injected cars instead of gasoline and i use that. MUCH MUCH BETTER than the one i buy from snow. feel a big difference.
