I don't know a ton about civics.. but a buddy of mine was lookin at this, and when I saw the ad I laughed... for the love of god.. please reply as to how much of a joke this is so he wont buy it... he thinks the car has to be "pretty quick"... this thing has to be slower than a new corolla right?

That depends on how big a hill you're going down, and how hard the wind is blowing behind you. A stock civic will usually top out at around 110 - 120MPH. Honestly I expected far worse, other than the ricey headlights, ugly looking rims and tint it appears pretty much stock.
