Default Expo 9: Something to get you started - in car video

Now that Expo 9 is at Autobahn South. I dug up an old race video that can help you guys get started in learning the track. Here's the map, note that we're on the South track:

Here is the video:

At the 10:20 mark, I overtook the GTS2 944. But I didn't sail away, he was trailing behind me for the rest of the race. To make this more interesting, here's a video from HIS in-car. You can see me dancing around in his screen in the later part of the video:

I found that our videos are about 20 seconds apart. So if you wanna sync them, set mine to ~20 seconds ahead.

I got something similar to this from online camera store. Much cheaper than those mounts sold by the "racing stores".

I got that exact one from BHP for my brother. Like half the price as the "other" place and just as effective.

Yeah there isn't any elevation changes, well unless you run on those curbs at apexes.
Those curbs were built up pretty high, at an angle that if you run over it at speed, it would literally launch your car in the air. I usually use the curbs/strips when I race, but as you could see in the vids, I stayed away from them on this track.

I dunno if they grind them down since I haven't been there for a while. I hope they did.

If you got that seat mounted you could sit in it and make driving noises while imagining the line
